My grandfather, John Walker was a wonderful man
You may have heard of him. He was in the paper on on the news for walking the Appalachian and Jenny Wiley Trails.
He had a love for Lincoln and President Truman. Stories of them are in the book. One of Lincolns cabinet member had a mystery about him. That is revealed as well.
This book also tells about John's personal life In Hazard, Ky. from before and during WWII to after WWII to when he moved his family North to Indiana.
Walker the Walker- Memories of my Grandfather, is filled with wonderful memories of my grandfather. He was always doing something. He wanted to leave a legacy, he didn't want to die and not be known.
